Whatman polypropylene membrane filters are flexible, durable, and virtually indestructible. The exceptionally uniform strength of the device means that the membrane will not crack, tear, break, or distort when picked up by hand or forceps. Easy handling These devices are temperature tolerant, which means they are not affected by autoclaving. This temperature resistance gives users autoclaved membranes with flow rates and throughput at least 80% higher than those of autoclaved cellulosic membranes.
